This is just one example of the quality of work under the leadership of UnderSheriff Carlos Bolanos. Who ordered this case to stop at the Sheriff's Office and not go forward to the DA's Office?

October 11, 2015 was the date of incident, I followed up this week with San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe to find out the status of the court case and the blood test results. Mr Wagstaffe informed me that We have no case submitted to us for review and prosecution for a person named Michael Skucas. He had to google it to find out who I was asking about, and he found it, he is looking into it.

The Sheriff's Office never sent a criminal complaint to him. Why?

Based on the way the vehicle was being driven, the Deputy suspected the driver might be driving under the influence. He caught up to the vehicle in the area of Oak Ave. and ECR in Redwood City. THOSE WHO MATTER. Those who control the data
Now it's Matthew Paul Skukas not Skucas Case Number 15-SF-001655-A Jury Trial set for June 27, 2016

First it was Michael not Matthew in Press Release by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Now the spelling of last name is different by the District Attorney's Office

There seems to be a lot of covering up of the sheriff and his staff's activities. We have the same problem with our school district in Half Moon Bay. Even after being caught they now refuse to address the problem or make any attempt to resolve the issue.

Hopefully the sheriff and the DA can get their act together, but this is San Mateo County and I am sure the parties involved will do their best to keep the county's reputation as corrupt intact and well deserved.

Both of Matthews parents are or were employed by San Mateo County,
This is a great way to have a case disappear, wrong name, wrong spelling no newspaper reporter covering it. case solved no questions asked,

REDWOOD CITY -- A 23-year-old Redwood City man was cited for driving under the influence early Sunday morning following a police pursuit that ended with him crashing into two parked cars.

A San Mateo County sheriff's deputy was monitoring traffic at El Camino Real and Belmont Avenue in San Carlos around 2:33 a.m. when he spotted a motorist traveling south on El Camino Real at a "high rate of speed."

The motorist also appeared to be driving under the influence, according to the sheriff's office.

The deputy caught up with the motorist at El Camino Real and Oak Avenue in Redwood City and activated his emergency lights as both he and the motorist turned west onto Oak Avenue.

In response, the motorist allegedly sped up, but he hit a dip in the road, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into two parked cars.

Medics cared for the motorist, identified as Michael Skucas, at the scene but transported him to a hospital for further treatment of facial lacerations and chest pain. At the hospital, Skucas was cited for driving under the influence and reckless evading, according to the sheriff's office.
